Letter: Changing system is not Christ-like

Our nation was formed on the belief that there should be separation of state and religion. Attempts by the extreme right to change our system of government -- to ensure that the judges of their preference are selected -- is dangerous and unbiblical.

I refer to Matthew 22:21 -- "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's."

Let these judges be judged by our governmental system as we know it -- it has functioned well for more than 200 years. We are to leave alone those things which are of Caesar (government); changing the rules appears to conflict with Christ's teaching no matter what our beliefs about abortions.
