Las Vegas airline adds Green Bay to route map

Green Bay Packers fans will get a new way to jet to the Frozen Tundra later this year.
Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air will begin offering nonstop flights twice a week to Green Bay, Wis., beginning July 28.
Allegiant, which will operate flights on 150-seat twin-engine MD-80 series jets on Thursdays and Sundays, is increasing its fleet to accommodate the new route.
Flights will leave McCarran International Airport at 7:20 a.m., arriving in Green Bay at 12:50 p.m., and depart from Green Bay's Austin Straubel International Airport at 1:30 p.m., with a 3:25 Las Vegas arrival.
