Early voting will end Friday

Early voting wraps up Friday for Tuesday's municipal election that will send voters to the polls in four area cities.
Voting started May 18 in North Las Vegas and May 21 in Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City.
In North Las Vegas, the voting runs from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday at Vons, 1601 W. Craig Road, and at Smith's, 5564 Camino al Norte. Voting also will take place from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Clark County Election Center, 965 Trade Drive.
Boulder City will conduct voting at City Hall, 401 California Ave., from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Henderson City Hall, 240 Water St., will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Las Vegas will conduct voting at the city clerk's office, 400 Stewart Ave., from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Smith's at Rancho Drive and Craig Road.
Through Tuesday early voting continued to be heavy in Boulder City where nearly 21 percent of active registered voters have cast ballots. By contrast, 2.7 percent have turned out in Henderson, 3.2 percent in North Las Vegas and 2.9 percent in Las Vegas.
