The American Gaming Association, which represents commercial casinos nationwide, will kick off its annual Responsible Gaming Awareness Week on Monday.

The trade group's annual awareness campaign is centered on casino employees and will include the distribution of orange plastic wristbands symbolizing a commitment to promote responsible gambling.

The weeklong campaign will begin with an event at the Bellagio attended by MGM Mirage Chief Executive Terry Lanni, American Gaming Association Chief Executive Frank Fahrenkopf Jr. and Robert Boswell, senior vice president of Pioneer Behavioral Health and a board member of the National Center for Responsible Gaming.
