Evelyn Mae Collyer

Evelyn Mae Collyer, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 27, 1918, in California. A resident for 59 years, she was a secretary for the federal government.

She is survived by one sister, Susan A. Shellenbarger of Las Vegas.

Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled private arrangements.

Natalie Alice Hackley

Natalie Alice Hackley, 79, of Las Vegas died July 19 in Henderson. She was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Los Angeles. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired owner-operator of a resort.

She is survived by one son, Dane Hackley of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Marsha Hackley, and one sister, Debbie, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Hebron Hogan

Hebron Hogan, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. A retired long distance truck driver and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran, he was born May 26, 1931, in Jonesboro, Ark.

He is survived by three daughters, Suzane and Melissa, both of Las Vegas, and Lori of Monrovia, Calif.; and one son, Kenneth of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

John Robert Jenkins

John Robert Jenkins, 49, of Las Vegas died July 16 in Las Vegas. A manager and a Navy veteran, he was born Dec. 9, 1955, in Fort Hood, Texas.

He is survived by two daughters, Jacquelyn Jenkins of Las Vegas and Candace Jenkins of Cold Springs.

Richard Anthony Kilroy

Richard Anthony Kilroy, 46, of Las Vegas died July 17 in Las Vegas. He was born April 18, 1959, in Hartford, Conn. A resident for five years, he was a union painter and a member of Local 159.

He is survived by one son, Eric Morin of Hartford; his mother, Halina S. Klinge of LaQuinta, Calif.; three brothers, Robert Kilroy of Spokane, Wash., Randall Kilroy of Port Orchard, Wash., and Louis Kilroy of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Halina K. Gosselin of Marlborough, Conn., and Veronica M. Reardon of Windsor, Conn.

A Christian celebration of life will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Chapel of Henderson, 47 E. Atlantic Ave. Burial will be in Connecticut. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Thomas Joseph Pratt Sr.

Thomas Joseph Pratt Sr., 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Paterson, N.J. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired cement truck driver and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Florence Lee Nunes, Shirley Jean Rose and Susan Marie Comer, all of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas Joseph Pratt Jr. of Golden, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today, 1-3 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to a 6 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Marlon 'Marty' Turner

Marlon "Marty" Turner, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 10, 1961, in Austin, Ind. A resident for 18 years, he was a dealer and pit boss and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Gwen Stroud; and one brother, Tom Robertson.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Wednesday with a 4 p.m. service in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

John A. Ulstad

John A. Ulstad, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 26, 1930, in Calumet, Mich. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie B.J.; two sons, Ben Lambert of Herndon, Va., and John W. Ulstad of Yakima, Wash.; one daughter, Paula Martinez of Fairchild, Wash.; one brother, Clarence Ulstad of Palm Desert, Calif.; two sisters, Marie Hermann of Las Vegas and Donna Ryan of Calumet, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1730 N. Pecos Road. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Linda E. von Borzestowski

Linda E. von Borzestowski, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 15, 1928, in Germany. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired beauty salon manager and a member of the Historical Society in Simi Valley, Calif.

She is survived by her best friend, Adella, friends, Lesa and Dale Hertz, and two granddaughters, Amanda Hertz and Kristina Hertz, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
