Dulce M. Basnueva
Dulce M. Basnueva, 97, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 15, 1908, in Cuba. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.
Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Marthe L. Bessette
Marthe L. Bessette, 50, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 21, 1954, in Granby, Quebec. A resident for 28 years, she was a drug store bookkeeper.
She is survived by one son, Matthew Bessette, and her parents, Laurent and Therese Bessette, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, Francois Bessette of Mount Juliet, Tenn.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Maryann Geraci
Maryann Geraci, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1952, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a bookkeeper in the construction industry.
She is survived by her father, Anthony Geraci, one sister, Linda Geraci, and one brother, John Geraci, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday with a 6 p.m. vigil at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Rudolph Givens
Rudolph Givens, 57, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 16, 1948, in Los Angeles. A resident for 14 years, he was a casino security officer.
He is survived by three daughters, Shannon Givens-Smith and Ronnette Givens, both of California, and Wenter Givens of North Las Vegas; two sons, Antonio Givens and Travon Cerrell W.B. Givens, both of California; and his mother, Maudell Givens of Los Angeles.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Ruby Olson Madsen
Ruby Olson Madsen, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday. She was born Oct. 2, 1915, in Moroni, Utah. A resident for 59 years, she was a second grade teacher, a secretary, a flight hostess for Western Airlines during World War II, president of the Mesquite Club, Clark County Medical Auxiliary and Nevada Lariats.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Madsen Keagy of Lafayette, Calif.; one sister, Effie Olson Nielsen of Salt Lake City; and two granddaughters.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Moroni. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, assisted with arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Moroni American Legion Post 107, c/o Daniel Green, (435) 436-8564.
John Allen Neuman
John Allen Neuman, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 6, 1949, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired ramp agent for a commercial airline and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, John Neuman and Justin Neuman, both of Las Vegas.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Kris Parry
Kris Parry, 31, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. A lifelong resident, he was born Feb. 28, 1974, in Boulder City.
He is survived by his parents, Sharlene and Lyle Parry of Henderson; one sister, Lisa Marie Mason of New Lano, La.; and one brother, Gary Welker of Orem, Utah.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday with services following at 2 p.m. in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Sylvia Newman Plotkin
Sylvia Newman Plotkin, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 2, 1918, in New York City. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired director of patient relations, a member of the National Organization for Women and Women's American Overseas Rehabilitation Training.
She is survived by one daughter, Randy Felice Newman of Las Vegas and Dennis Marc Newman of Phoenix; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
