Clifton Marshall
Clifton Marshall, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Charleston, S.C. A resident for four years, he was a retired city bus driver and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, June; four daughters, Jo-Ann Travis of Chicago, Donna E. Marshall of Uniondale, N.Y., Denise Lynn Tucker of Dallas and Stephanie Williams of West Hempstead, N.Y.; one son, Clifton W. Marshall of Long Beach, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 8 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
Concordia Neria
Concordia Neria, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 20, 1930, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marietta Neria and Angelina Candelaria, both of Henderson; four sons, Nestor Neria, Danilo Neria and Guillermo Neria, all of Henderson, and Ramon Neria of Manila; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Saturday and noon until a 2 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Aloysius J. Strack
Aloysius J. Strack, 77, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 14, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. A resident for eight years, he was a retired manager for an electronics company, a World War II and Korean War Marine Corps veteran, a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine C.; three sons, Philip Strack of Antioch, Ill., Mark Strack of Waukegan, Ill., and Adam Strack of Evanston, Ill.; two brothers, Benjamin Strack of St. Louis and Dennis Strack of Oak Creek, Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Patty Lou Thompson
Patty Lou Thompson, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 14, 1931, in Missouri. A resident for 23 years, she was a registered nurse and a member and queen of TOPS.
She is survived by three sons, Danny, Patrick and Tim; one daughter, Debbie; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Maurice Wiley
Maurice Wiley, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 29, 1918, in Montana. A resident for three years, he was a real estate broker and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Doreen; and one brother, Ned.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
