twitterPolice arrest man suspected in Laughlin killing

Police in Arizona arrested a 42-year-old man Tuesday in connection with the murder of a man outside Laughlin last year.
John Bernard Hemmers ran from a house in Summerton, Ariz., when police arrived to arrest him on a murder warrant, but he was later taken into custody, police said. He is being held in a Yuma jail awaiting extradition to Nevada.
Hemmers is accused of killing Anthony Wayne Helton on Nov. 11.
