twitterLetter: Boxers KO’d by strip club parking

I read in the Las Vegas Sun last week that Barry's Boxing gymnasium was forced to move so that parking for the Treasures strip club can be expanded. The operators of the gym were not permitted to renew their lease at 2763 S. Highland Drive, and have nowhere to immediately relocate. There are 300 kids registered to box at the club for a fee of $25 a month, and I can imagine that they all have dreams of bigger things.
Barry's has been available to kids for the past 22 years, the last seven of which were at the Highland Drive address. Is a parking lot really that important?
