William B. Brady

William B. Brady, 74, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 8, 1931, in Parsons, Kan. A former Las Vegas resident for six years, he was a retired salesman in the bowling and billiards industries and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; one son, Kevin Brady of Lone Tree, Colo.; one daughter, Dawn Brady of Dallas; one brother, Jack Brady of Chicago; and one grandson.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Francis Colegrove

Francis Colegrove, 87, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 30, 1918, in Illinois. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Judith Magdos and Peggy Homer, both of Las Vegas; one son, Milton Colegrove Jr. of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled private arrangements.

Scott L. James

Scott L. James, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Miami, Okla. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired draftsman in the oil industry and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Dixie Lee Cate and Becky Sue Wharton, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Jack L. James of Claremore, Okla.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund, 2275 Corporate Circle, Suite 300, Las Vegas, NV 89074, or any charity that will benefit children.

Monica Meily

Monica Meily, 41, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 3, 1964, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for 20 years, she was a hotel cocktail waitress.

She is survived by one daughter, Allysa Meilly; seven sisters, Feli Trujillo, Rosalinda Trujillo, Regina Sicat, Normita Salazar and Lorena Santiago, all of Las Vegas, Rowena Redmond of Tampa, Fla., and Dolly Villare of South Beach, Fla.; and two brothers, Romulo Trujillo Jr. of Las Vegas and Mario Trujillo of the Philippines.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until noon services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Charles H. Nokes

Charles H. Nokes, 84, of Sequim, Wash., died Wednesday in Sequim. He was born March 10, 1921, in Pocatello, Idaho. A former Las Vegas resident for 30 years, he was a retired pharmacist and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Brad Nokes of North Ridgeville, Ohio; two daughters, Shauna Moore of Sparks and Toni Alama of Waipahu, Hawaii; one brother, Lee DeVere Nokes of Inkom, Idaho; one sister, Mildred Vaughn of Sequim; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 1 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial was to follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research, P.O. Box 2020, Grand Rapids, MN 55745.

Eugene W. Penny

Eugene W. Penny, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 21, 1925, in Clever, Mo. A resident for more than 20 years, he was a retired air traffic controller and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his cousin, Lela Powell of Modesto, Calif.

Albert S. Pring

Albert S. Pring, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 10, 1939, in Roanoke, Va. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Army master sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Natalie; three sons, Gene Scott Bowman and William Scott Young, both of Albuquerque, and Stanley Lee Young of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

E. Carol Scarkino

E. Carol Scarkino, 64, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 20, 1940, in Decatur, Ala. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony; one son, Robert Scarkino of Washington, Utah; two daughters, Laurie Mitchell of St. George, Utah, and Barbara Scarkino of Henderson; her mother, Edna Laynoitte Oden of Henderson; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Washington City Cemetery.

Robert Melvin Sullivan

Robert Melvin Sullivan, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 1, 1956, in McKeesport, Pa. A resident for 45 years, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by one son, Sean Sullivan of Henderson; one daughter, Aubrey Anne Sullivan of Montrose, Colo.; his father, Melvin Robert Sullivan of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; and one brother, Kirk Sullivan of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Jimmie Ray Wilson

Jimmie Ray Wilson, 61, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 5, 1943, in Winnsboro, S.C. A resident for 45 years, he was a hotel parking valet.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie P.; three sons, Jimmy Ray Jr. and Nathanial Ray Wilson, both of Henderson and Randal Wilson of Groton, Conn.; three daughters, Toni Schmidt of Las Vegas and Caralee Cook and Tanya Blackburn, both of Henderson; and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Cholla Street chapel. Graveside services will follow in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
