UMB Bank executive named to Gaming Commission

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Noel Shull, an executive at UMB Bank, has been appointed by Gov. Matt Blunt to serve on the Missouri Gaming Commission.
Shull, 63, is a Republican from Liberty and is executive vice president of the Kansas City-based bank. His term on the Gaming Commission runs until April 29, 2008, and is subject to Senate confirmation.
Shull replaces George Hartsfield, of Jefferson City, whose term expired.
The Missouri Gaming Commission was created in 1993 to regulate the casino industry. The five-member commission can have no more than three members of the same political party, and its members must have experience in law enforcement, finance, and civil and criminal investigation.
