Alberto S. Garneri

Alberto S. Garneri, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born July 9, 1938, in Bergamo, Italy. A resident for nine years, he was a retired hotel waiter.

He is survived by one sister, Anna Maria Ferguson of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; and one brother, Pier Domenico of Carmel, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Chad Jason Holder

Chad Jason Holder, 29, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1975, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 11 years, he was an audio electrician.

He is survived by his father, Luther Holder of Marysville, Calif.; his mother, Judy Wohlgemuth, three brothers, Kevin Holder, Stephen Wohlgemuth and Ryan Wohlgemuth, and his fiancee, Jennifer Prince, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Dottie Young of Las Vegas, Jean Conrad of California and John Holder of Oregon.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Thursday in Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive.

Martha Jean Howard

Martha Jean Howard, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. She was born Nov. 25, 1927, in Little Rock, Ark. A resident for 53 years, she was a retired food server for the Clark County School District.

She is survived by three sons, Jim Howard, George Howard and Danny Howard, all of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 8-9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to Shriners Children's Hospital, Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.

Diane Marie Le Doux

Diane Marie Le Doux, 45, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 15, 1960, in Southington, Conn. A resident for 3 1/2 years, she was a mental health case worker.

She is survived by her parents, John and Regina Le Doux of Las Vegas; and one brother, Anthony Le Doux of Toronto.

Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2575 W. El Campo Grande, North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Peter Y. Lee

Peter Y. Lee, 66, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 5, 1939, in Taiwan. A resident for six years, he was a jewelry store owner.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; one son, Michael; six brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a 3 p.m. service Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Larry Lee Lepper

Larry Lee Lepper, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Nebraska. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; one son, Wayne R.; three daughters, Michelle, Teresa and Juanita; three sisters, Annette, Laurie and Sandra; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Julius C. Lightfoot Jr.

Julius C. Lightfoot Jr., 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1947, in Chicago. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired video engineer in the entertainment industry.

He is survived by his wife, Tami; three sons, Marquinn Thomas of Corona, Calif., and Julius Lightfoot III and Marc Lightfoot II, both of Las Vegas; four daughters, Jaclyn Lightfoot of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Francesca Lightfoot, Lauren Lightfoot and Brandinn Thomas, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Mildred Lightfoot of Chicago; one brother, Marc Lightfoot of Alexandria, Va.; four sisters, Laurita Watts, Iris Forrester and Heather Anderson, all of Chicago, and Kathleen Gregory of Joliet, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Word of Life Christian Center, 3520 N. Buffalo Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Jessie Maynard

Jessie Maynard, 81, of Henderson died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Milwaukee. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired singer.

She is survived by one son, Allen Maynard; and one grandson.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Joan Lenore Norling-Laub

Joan Lenore Norling-Laub, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 9, 1944, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Tina Hall, Annette Wharton and Sandra Vosberg, all of Las Vegas, and Debbie Hemstreet of Henderson; one son, Casey Laub of Las Vegas; her mother, Lenore R. Davies of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Ann Norling of Utah and Linda Houghton of Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in the LDS Christy Lane Ward. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Raymond C. Oberholtzer

Raymond C. Oberholtzer, 83, of Boulder City died July 2 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 21, 1921, in Norristown, Pa. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired mechanic for an aircraft parts manufacturer and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. July 21 in Christ Lutheran Church, 1401 Fifth St., Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Renee Podrup

Renee Podrup, 91, of Henderson died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 25, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for a stockbroker.

She is survived by her husband, Harry; one daughter, Eileen Romero of Las Vegas; one son, Howard Podrup of Carlsbad, Calif.; one sister, Sally Steadman of Nampa, Idaho; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Robert Leonard Riley

Robert Leonard Riley, 75, of Las Vegas died June 26 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1929, in Newark, N.J. A resident for four years, he was a security officer and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Anne; one daughter; two sons; and one sister, Susan Riley of Vineland, N.J.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 E. Desert Inn Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Julie Tarleton

Julie Tarleton, 50, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 12, 1954, in Alexander, Ind. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Ann Dillon of Las Vegas; and her father, Frank Baldwin of Fort Myers, Fla.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Doris M. Weldon

Doris M. Weldon, 89, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 16, 1915, Fresno, Calif. A resident for more than 40 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, John Weldon of Las Vegas; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Bob L. 'Wheatie' Williams

Bob L. "Wheatie" Williams, 76, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Salisbury, N.C. A resident for five years, he was a retired general manager for a cable TV company and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; one daughter, Shirley Heitz of Salinas, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
