MGM Mirage has appointed Rose McKinney-James to the company's board of directors. McKinney-James is a local business owner and former Mandalay Resort Group board member. She is the only Mandalay member invited on the board after MGM Mirage bought Mandalay in an $8 billion deal.
McKinney-James is a registered lobbyist representing the Clark County School District and owns Energy Works Consulting and McKinney-James and Associates in Las Vegas. She also is a member of the Nevada Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Task Force that deals with solar energy issues.
