Shelter selected for homeless

An evaluation team designated by the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition's Committee on Homelessness has selected Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada to provide summer day shelter to homeless citizens from July through Sept. 30.
Emergency Aid of Boulder City, was selected as a demonstration project for its services that include temporary housing and meals.
Specific day shelter services at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada will include 100 air-conditioned day shelter spaces; access to toilets, showers and clean clothing; a mid-morning meal; and access to any other services available through that agency.
