Antonne 'Tony' Angelo
Antonne "Tony" Angelo, 61, of North Las Vegas died June 25 in a local hospital. A resident for 35 years, he was born July 26, 1943, in Los Angeles.
He is survived by one daughter, Anna Maria Angelo of Redding, Calif.; one brother, Michael Angelo of Las Vegas; one sister, Patrice Mann of Henderson; and four grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Graveside services will be in Paragonah, Utah. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Dan Cathers
Dan Cathers, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 20, 1951, in Washington, Pa. A resident for 28 years, he was a dealer a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Tishka Skogen; four sons, Jon-Michael Cathers, Arlin Cathers, Eric Cathers and John David Cathers; one daughter, Julie Ann Cathers; his father, John Daniel Cathers; his mother, Madaline Nelson; and one brother, Nelson Douglas Cathers.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Donald Lee Dayton
Donald Lee Dayton, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born June 1, 1936, in Missoula, Mont. A resident for 48 years, he ran Dayton's Kart Shop, the Pink Horse Bar and Dayton's Store along with parents. He was founder and president of the Las Vegas Kart Klub and Southern Nevada Off Road Enthusiasts. He was the writer, editor and chief photographer of SNORE's paper, Race Ruts, a member of TORT, a group that protects endangered tortoises, and participated in the Blue Ribbon Commission, Tread Lightly, Nevada Off-Highway Users Council and the Clark County Desert Conservation Program.
He is survived by his former wife, Madelaine Dayton; one son, Erik Dayton of Everett, Wash.; one daughter, Erika Dayton Jackson of Las Vegas; one sister, Dorothy Kruckeberg; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway's kart track. Medical Education Research Institute of Nevada, 874 American Pacific Drive, Suite 120, Henderson, handled arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Edward B. Fogtmann Jr.
Edward B. Fogtmann Jr., 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born March 18, 1919, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired electrician and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jean L.

Jonas Kretzer
Jonas Kretzer, 65, of Las Vegas died June 15 in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1940, in Oregon, Mo. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired customer service supervisor for an airline and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Davonna; two daughters, Cheryl Helton and Jackie Dandrea, both of Las Vegas; and two sons, Mike Zeigler of Las Vegas and Wade Zeigler of Round Rock, Texas.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Las Vegas Moose Lodge 1763. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Hazel Cooper Lundquist
Hazel Cooper Lundquist, 94, of Las Vegas died June 29 in a local health care center. She was born May 23, 1911, in Dixon, Neb. A resident for 29 years, she was a retired computer operator for an aircraft manufacturer.
She is survived by one son, Thomas D. Cooper of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Panagis Maliagros
Panagis Maliagros, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 22, 1930, in Greece. A resident for 33 years, he was a blackjack dealer.
He is survived by two daughters, Margarita Maliagros and Maria Maliagros, and one brother, Spiro Maliagros, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Peristera Valianos of Greece.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Friday in St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Steve W. Markus
Steve W. Markus, 94, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 24, 1910, in Norwalk, Conn. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired assemblyman in the automobile industry.
He is survived by two daughters, Janet Kay of Las Vegas and Joan Leslie of Ceres, Calif.; one sister, Mary Sizensky of Norwalk; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled until 5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Shane E. Patton
Shane E. Patton, 22, of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, was killed in Afghanistan June 28. He was born Nov. 15, 1982, in San Diego. He was a Boulder City High School graduate and was a Navy machinist's mate second class.
He is survived by his father, James J. Patton of Boulder City; his mother, Valerie Patton-Berdeski, and his stepmother, Pamela Patton, both of San Diego; three brothers, James J. Patton II of Las Vegas and Chase A. Patton and Dean K. Patton, both of Boulder City; and his grandparents, James K. Patton of Boulder City, Marilyn Y. Patton of Las Vegas, Phillip Berdeski of San Diego and Linda Berdeski of Hawaii.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Shirley W. Price
Shirley W. Price, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 21, 1924, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was an accountant at the Dunes for 24 years and a member of Sigma Phi.
She is survived by one sister, Verley Wicker of Las Vegas.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Frances Salazar
Frances Salazar, 64, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born July 17, 1940, in Las Vegas, N.M. A resident for 42 years, she was a retired hotel PBX operator.
She is survived by two sons, Ezequiel Roybal and Jimmy Roybal, and two daughters, Eleanor Jaramillo and Angie Roybal, all of Henderson; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Arlene Elaine Sexton
Arlene Elaine Sexton, 37, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born June 1, 1968, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Amanda Daughty and Briana Hines, and one son, Casio A. Moten, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Ida Sexton-Tatum of North Las Vegas; one brother, Lonnie Sewell, and two sisters, Lennis Taylor and Crystal Gregory, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 1-6 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St. Burial will follow in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Gerald E. Weikel
Gerald E. Weikel, 80, of Las Vegas died June 30 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 14, 1924, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 53 years, he was a sales manager for a lumber company, a World War II Navy veteran and a former member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann L.; one daughter, Karen Daub of Pahrump; one brother, Orville Weikel of Pennsylvania; and one granddaughter.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Helen L. Wise
Helen L. Wise, 87, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 19, 1918, in New York City.
She is survived by her husband, William; and one son, Steven E. Wise of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
