Las Vegas teen to attend Girls Nation

The American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation has chosen Mallory Cyr, a senior at Clark High School, to be the Nevada delegate attending the 59th session of the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation at the National 4-H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Md.
Young women are selected from each Girls State program to attend Girls Nation 2005, which introduces them to the structure and functions of the federal government.
The American Legion Auxiliary's Girls Nation stresses its appreciation for America's veterans and current service members, through memorable and educating experiences.
