Orientation planned for Fire Explorers
The Fire Explorer program of Las Vegas Fire & Rescue will hold an open recruitment and orientation session from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday at the training academy, 633 N. Mojave Road.
The program is open to any student who is interested in the fire services as a career. The mission of the program is to teach interested youths about the fire service and career possibilities.
The program is open to those 15 to 21 years old, with a least a C average in school.

Jillian R. Camarote of Las Vegas
