The American College Test, commonly known as ACT, is taken by more than 1.2 million high school students. It tests a student's knowledge of English, math, science and reading. A good score would be 22, 23 or 24. Twenty-five or higher is excellent. Wen Hui Tan, 16, who will be a senior at Coronado High School in August, scored a perfect 36.
An honors student and community volunteer, Wen Hui was one of just 32 students nationwide to reach this level of accomplishment on the test. We congratulate her on this outstanding achievement.
"Studying really does help. I know most kids don't want to, but if you put in the time, it pays off," Wen Hui told the Sun. Excellent advice from an excellent student.
