PHOENIX -- A new resort and conference center on the Fort McDowell Reservation is set to open on schedule Dec. 1.
The Radisson Resort and Casino at Fort McDowell is a planned 247-room hotel and will include an 18,000-square-foot main ballroom and more than 23,000 square feet of total meeting space at the conference center.
Resort planners have already booked some space at the conference center through 2008. Scheduled conferences include one for the Intertribal Council of Arizona in April 2006.
Sales director David Rosenbaum said the resort's goal is to surpass $5 million in sales revenue by Dec. 1.
