Support group helps widowed, divorced
The Divorced and Widowed Adjustment Support Group offers free ongoing weekly programs to provide emotional support and recovery programs for individuals experiencing difficult times in their lives brought about by separation, divorce or death of a loved one.
The programs are designed to help people deal with life-controlling traumatic issues, with support from people who are coming from simular situations.

The Nevada Republican Men's Club
will hold a membership luncheon at 11:30 a.m. July 11 at Ellis Island Casino on Koval Lane. Admission is $15 and includes a buffet lunch. All U.S. citizens of voting age are invited to attend, regardless of gender or party affiliation. Call 361-6002 or 869-9903 for more information.

made the Roger Williams University spring dean's list.
Patricia DeSimone of Las Vegas
was on the spring dean's list. Students must have achieved a 3.5 GPA for the semester.
