Letter: Many more to wake up to Sun
Friday, July 1, 2005 | 8:45 a.m.
When I first heard the Las Vegas Sun was merging with the Review-Journal, I hated the thought of getting the politically backward R-J every day. Although a fan of a.m. papers, I picked the Sun because of its superior quality compared to that of the R-J. I couldn't bear to think of having the R-J delivered every day to my house.
But as I looked at the issue more I found this was actually a great move and will only benefit the city of Las Vegas. Not only will more people be able to finally see how the Sun is the better paper, but also the Sun's editorial pages will now reach people who didn't even know the Sun existed (my neighbor being one of them).
Also, R-J readers will now get to see the other side of issues. I'm excited about the move to the a.m. and can't wait to wake up with the Sun.
