'Red, White and Pool'
Las Vegas presents "Red, White and Pool" from noon to 4 p.m. today at the Pavilion Center Pool, 101 S. Pavilion Center Drive. Games, food and music will be provided. Admission is $3. 229-1488.
'Birthday Splash'
Las Vegas presents "Uncle Sam's Birthday Splash" at the following pools from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today. Compete against lifeguards in different games and activities. Fee is the daily pool admission:

Holiday party
Las Vegas presents a traditional 4th of July celebration at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Baker Park Pool, 1100 E. St. Louis Ave. Admission is free, and contests, music, food and games will be provided. 229-2488.
4th of July
Las Vegas presents a "Centennial Star-Spangled Fourth of July Celebration" from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Lied Community School, 5340 W. Tropical Parkway. Face-painting, barbecue, carnival games and more will be available. Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family. 229-5072.
'Sundae on Sunday'
Las Vegas presents a "Sundae on Sunday" event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cimarron Rose Community Center, 5591 N. Cimarron Road. Create a unique ice cream sundae. Admission is $1 per person. 229-1607.
4th of July
Las Vegas presents the "9th annual All-American 4th of July Celebration" from 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday at the Stanford Elementary School, 5350 Harris Ave. 229-2542.
'Leeboon, Lipoon'
Master thespian and storyteller Momar Talla Ndiaye will present "Leeboon, Lipoon: Everything in Life Has a Story," a storytelling children's workshop, at noon Saturday at the West Las Vegas Arts Center and Ampitheatre, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Admission is $15. 229-4800.

Summer program
