NLV to hold Jubilee Saturday
North Las Vegas will begin its sixth annual Independence Day Jubilee celebration at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at James Seastrand Park, 6330 Camino Eldorado, North Las Vegas.
The event will feature food vendors, entertainment, and a fireworks show. Free children's activities include a 10 ton snow mountain, a rock climbing water slide and an inflatable obstacle course. Live music will be provided by The Fab, and a fireworks display by Montana Fireworks. Southwest Airlines will be giving away two free travel vouchers.
Admission is free and people are welcome to bring picnic baskets, food, refreshments, lawn chairs, and blankets to the event. Food and beverage will also be available from Tommy Boy Sausage, Snowie Girlz, Greathouse of Ribs, Snowie, Martino's Mexican Grill, R & C Thai Chinese Barbecue, Red Apple Grill, and Del's Lemonade.
