Daniel L. Beall

Daniel L. Beall, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 10, 1925, in Orlando, Fla. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired mail carrier and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne; one son, Danny; and one brother, J.J.

He is survived by one daughter, Diane B. Deslauriers of Las Vegas; one brother, Charles Beall of South Miami; one sister, Susan Quinn of Queens, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Roger Mahlon Berkley

Roger Mahlon Berkley, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 26, 1926, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 16 years, he was a restaurant and bar owner, an Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Avid Golfers Association.

He is survived by his ex-wife and companion, Mary; two sons, Michael and Bruce; two daughters, Kimberly Fergus and Karen Berkley; one brother, John Berkoski; and three grandchildren.

Jocelyn Hazard Darling

Jocelyn Hazard Darling, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 5, 1931, in New York. A resident for 15 years, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by her companion, Gerry de Camp; two sons, Clifford C. Darling and Kenneth E. Darling; two daughters, Nancy Lockwood Taylor and Susan Laura Darling; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Arthur Ferdinand Fisher

Arthur Ferdinand Fisher, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 28, 1916, in Rapid City, S.D. A resident for 33 years, he was a heavy equipment operator in the cement industry and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Harold Fisher of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Charles Fisher of Wake Village, Texas; one daughter, Elsie Mae McClure of Bellview, Fla.; three sisters, Bernice, Lavene and Doris; one brother, Earl; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Enzo Gagliardi

Enzo Gagliardi, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Italy. A resident for 13 years, he was an entertainer and a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

He is survived by his wife, Kirsten; one brother, Raffaele; and two sisters, Sisina and Titina.

Charles D. Galante

Charles D. Galante, 59, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 10, 1945, in Glen Cove, N.Y. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired poker dealer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Janice H.; three sons, Lyle T. Galante and Donald J. "DJ" Galante, both of North Las Vegas, and Craig W. Galante of Henderson; one daughter, Erin T. Galante of North Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Donald J. Gibson

Donald J. Gibson, 78, of Las Vegas died Jan. 22 in Las Vegas. He was born May 30, 1927, in Iowa. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired veteran of the Army and the Merchant Marines and was a member of the Paratrooper Association.

He is survived by one sister, Joan Simpson.

Mea Nyoki Greenwood

Mea Nyoki Greenwood died Thursday, her date of birth.

She is survived by her mother, Michelle Greenwood of North Las Vegas.

Carolyn B. James

Carolyn B. James, 86, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Detroit. A resident for 3 1/2 years, she was a retired hospital lab technician.

She is survived by one son, Phillip Smith of North Las Vegas; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Services and burial will be in Michigan. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Thomas W. Jones

Thomas W. Jones, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 17, 1921, in Alberta. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired superintendent for an insurance company and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Naida; one daughter, "Ernie" Oss of Littleton, Colo.; three sons, Bryan Jones, Glenn Jones and Wayne Jones, and one brother, Richard Jones, all of Denver; and nine grandchildren.

Annabelle Keller

Annabelle Keller, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was a World War II veteran of the Army Nurse Corps and a retired head nurse in the OB unit of Sunrise Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; two sons, Stewart Keller and Colby Keller; one sister, Barbara Karr; and one brother, Dr. Charles Niblick.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

William Manley

William Manley, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 27, 1927, in Massachusetts. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two stepdaughters, Susan Ballard and Ruby Moore; seven step-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

William J. Nicklas

William J. Nicklas, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 3, 1921, in Danville, Ill. A resident for three years, he was a retired owner-operator of a home remodeling company.

He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Ward, and one great-granddaughter, Jennifer Kreutztrager, both of Las Vegas; and one grandson, Jeffrey Kreutztrager of Omaha, Neb.

Wilma June McCurtain

Wilma June McCurtain, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born June 8, 1930, in Oklahoma. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Rick McCurtain of Long Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Diana Gail Reynoso of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

F. Donna Partin, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1920, in New Britain, Conn. A resident for 24 years, she was a math teacher and an Army veteran.

She is survived by two daughters, Shari Tupac of Henderson and Deborah Byer of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Marina Pjaca-Hrenek

Marina Pjaca-Hrenek, 43, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 15, 1962, in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. A resident for 10 years, she was an architect.

She is survived by her husband, Vedran.

Ray W. Pollard

Ray W. Pollard, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 25, 1930, in New York City. A resident for eight years, he was a singer, an actor and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie; one daughter, Angel Roberts of Pomona, Calif.; two sons, Ray W. Pollard Jr. of Hurley, N.Y., and Stanford Pollard of Denver; one brother, Mitchell Bowie of New York City; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Word of Life Christian Center, 3520 N. Buffalo Drive. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Milton M. Vicik

Milton M. Vicik, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired general manager of a plumbing supply company and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two stepsons, Paul Harker of Henderson and William Harker of Ely; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Harold 'Hal' Walker

Harold "Hal" Walker, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born March 6, 1926, in Tempe, Ariz. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired pilot and a World War II and Korean War Marine Corps and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; five sons, Michael Crosby and Patrick Crosby, both of California, Brad Walker of Arizona, Glen Coulson of Burkley, Wash., and Jim Coulson of Salt Lake City; one daughter, Bobbi Tichy of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Bruce Allen White

Bruce Allen White, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1951, in Oklahoma. A resident for six years, he was a certified welder.

He is survived by his wife, Vicky; two sons, Troy White of Ogden, Utah, and Brody White of Brigham, Utah; one daughter, Tracy Bennett of North Ogden; one stepdaughter, Teresa Ward of Newport Beach, Calif.; one stepson, Travis Thein of Layton, Utah; and eight grandchildren.
