Growth panel sets open house Saturday
Clark County's Growth Task Force will hold a special open house 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday on the first floor of the County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.
The event will provide an informal setting for the public to talk about growth issues with county commissioners, task force members and staff. County Commission Chairman Rory Reid and Commissioner Lynette Boggs McDonald plan to attend the event.
The open house will feature exhibits and educational material to outline the task force's work to date on four areas of concentration: urban design, natural resources, public facilities planning and inter-governmental coordination. County staff from a variety of agencies will be on hand to offer information and answer questions. Call 455-3201.
