StumbleCFO: 2004 revenue at $28.8 bil.

PHILADELPHIA -- The newly merged health insurer WellPoint Inc. should report 2004 revenue of $20.8 billion and year-end medical membership of 27.6 million, Chief Financial Officer David Colby said today.
Indianapolis-based WellPoint, formed in November by Anthem Inc.'s acquisition of WellPoint Health Networks Inc., said it expected to report fourth-quarter 2004 earnings of 90 cents a share, below the company's previous forecast of 95 cents to $1 per share.
