Regarding your Dec. 27 editorial on the Social Security "crisis" headlined, "Straight talk needed:"
Your editorial was right on. Don't expect straight talk or answers on Social Security privatization from the president and his advisers. They have a "sky is falling," "Bring 'em on!" and "Mission Accomplished" mentality in order to destroy every societal program developed in the past 70-plus years.
The next programs with White House targets painted on them will be Medicare and Medicaid.
