Betty Nadene Affentranger

Betty Nadene Affentranger, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1935, in Oklahoma. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a retired teacher.

She is survived by two sons, John Affentranger and Gary Affentranger; three daughters, Janet Affentranger, Delana Jordon and Debi Affentranger; one brother, Otis Earl Garrison; two sisters, Ada Mae Harper and Wanda Jo Thornburgh; and 11 grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Carl W. Bartsch

Carl W. Bartsch, 67, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born March 20, 1937, in Chicago. A resident for five years, he was a retired electrical inspector.

He is survived by his wife, Jane V.; one son, Steve C. Bartsch of Roselle, Ill.; one daughter, Veronica Albano Smith, and his granddaughter, Kathleen, both of Sycamore, Ill.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. A funeral service is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday.

Margaret Bizzarro-Hoopes

Margaret Bizzarro-Hoopes, 58, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Brighton, England. A resident for 28 years, she was a food and beverage manager.

She is survived by one son, Francis Bizzarro of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 4 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Eleanor Joyce Bradford

Eleanor Joyce Bradford, 78, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 24, 1926, in Los Angeles. A resident for 19 years, she was a bookkeeper at a mausoleum and a member of Eagles Basic 2672.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Joyce Kagele; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Benny Citron

Benny Citron, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was a retired owner of a vertical blinds manufacturing company and a World War II Army veteran. He was born Oct. 19, 1920, in Czechoslovakia.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; three daughters, Gale Citron of New York, Anne Primas of Las Vegas and Ellen Samuels of San Diego; two sons, Alan Citron of New York and Fred Samuels of Hawaii; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Sherry Louise Feibish

Sherry Louise Feibish, 67, of Las Vegas died Feb. 15 in Las Vegas. She was born on Sept. 8, 1937, in New York. A resident for many years, she was a fashion designer.

She is survived by one brother, Michael; and one sister, Shelley Frankel.

O. Boyd Gilliland

O. Boyd Gilliland, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 11, 1931, in Fosterville, Tenn. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired educator.

He is survived by his wife, Katie E.; two daughters, LuNell Gilliland of Valley Village, Calif., and Dori K. Hestand of North Las Vegas; one sister, Bea Blalock of Bell Buckle, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Bright Angel Church of Christ, 8570 W. Bright Angel Way. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Charles Herr

Charles Herr, 100, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 21, 1904, in Lake Arthur, La. A resident for 65 years, he was a retired casino security officer and a member of the Masons and the Shriners.

Donna J. Kramzar

Donna J. Kramzar, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 13, 1935, in Springfield, Ill. A resident for seven years, she was a retired vending machine company owner-operator.

She was preceded in death by one son, James Kramzar.

She is survived by her husband, Dwain; and one brother, Ron Kaczanski of Springfield, Ill.

Lawrence A. Larson

Lawrence A. Larson, 74, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1930, in Lake Forest, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired vice president of a steel corporation and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; one daughter, Leanne Accardo of Henderson; one son, Gunnar L. Larson of Wauwautosa, Wis.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Alexander S. Lawther

Alexander S. Lawther, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Flint, Mich. A resident for nine years, he was a retired master mechanic superintendent for an automotive manufacturer.

He is survived by his wife, Lois J.; two daughters, Kathleen Ryder and Nancy Carroll, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Werner Lawther of Huntsville, Ala.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Flint. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Dante Ari Miller

Dante Ari Miller, 25, of Las Vegas died Feb. 17 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 10, 1980, in Las Vegas. He was a package handler.

He is survived by his companion, Jackie Seeno; one son, Dante Miller Jr., two daughters, Tiara Miller and Talayea Miller, and his mother, Myra Williams, all of Las Vegas; his father, Freeman Stowers of St. Louis; his stepfather, Thomas Williams, two brothers, Terrill Miller and Thomas Williams Jr., three sisters, Keri Miller, Lisa Williams and Aleshya Williams, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Earline and Walter Winn of North Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Donna Mroz

Donna Mroz, 65, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 23, 1940, in Lady Smith, Wis. A resident for 18 years, she was an accounts payable clerk at a casino.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald M.; two daughters, Therese Hogue of Henderson and Elizabeth Wilson of Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister, Shirley Upsleja of Milwaukee; two brothers, Dale Baxter of Milwaukee and Ronnie Baxter of Minnesota; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will be private.

Leon Page

Leon Page, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A hotel porter, he was born Aug. 29, 1945, in Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; four daughters, Leslie Manor, Patricia Whitfield and Mary Whitfield, all of Las Vegas, and Jackie Page of California; two brothers, Leotis Page of Texas and Jessie Hunter of Arkansas; two sisters, Martha Williams of Louisiana and Viola White of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 3415 S. Mojave Road. Burial will follow in Bunkers' Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Kristopher Phillips

Kristopher Phillips, 23, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 15, 1981, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for five years, he was a cook at a pizza restaurant.

He is survived by his parents, Brenda and Al Phillips, one brother, David Phillips, and one sister, Michelle Phillips, all of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Vera Phillips of East Syracuse.

Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., followed by burial in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

The family suggests donations to St. Jude Research Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Gerald Edward Rions

Gerald Edward Rions, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 6, 1924, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for five years, he was a tool and die maker and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn; two daughters, Carol Rions of Las Vegas and Karen Murphy of Costa Mesa, Calif.; one son, Mark Rions of North Bend, Ore.; two brothers, Will Rions of Minneapolis and Lester Rions of Lady Lake, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until a 2 p.m. service Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
