StumblePolice probe garbage bin find

Metro Police are investigating the discovery of an umbilical cord, placenta and bloody towels in a garbage bin at an apartment complex near Sahara Avenue and Rancho Drive.
Someone called 911 just before 11 p.m. Tuesday to report the discovery at the Wyandotte Apartments at 2631 Wyandotte Ave.
Patrol officers classified it as a suspicious situation and referred it to the abuse and neglect detail, police said, but it was not clear this morning if any crime had been committed.
