Wes Winters

Musica Lumina
Musica Lumina, a chamber music ensemble led by pianist and conductor Marek Rachelski, performs at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway. Admission is free, but a free-will offering will be taken. 454-8484.
Music festival
UNLV presents an African-American Music Festival at 7:30 p.m. today at Artemus Ham Hall. Admission is $8 general, $5 students and seniors. 895-2787.
Faculty festival
The Community College of Southern Nevada music faculty will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Nicholas J. Horn Theatre, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Admission is $10 adults, $8 seniors and students. 651-5483.
'Stand Up'
"Stand Up ... Be Counted," the 31st annual Black History Celebration, will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Community College of Southern Nevada's Horn Theatre, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Admission is free, and entertainment includes singer Serena Henry. 651-4318.
Blues band
The Julius Funches Blues Band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North, as part of the city's "Studio All-Blues" series. Admission is $7. 229-6211.
Sandip Thanki

'Die!'
