George Brewington
George Brewington, 88, of North Las Vegas died Feb. 10 in North Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Tennessee. A resident for many years, he was a retired lead man in the steel industry and an Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Helen Piner; two sons, Stewart Kuhn and John Antoinne; five daughters, Paulette, Theresa, Henrietta, Joyce and Janice; two sisters, Brenda Pincheon and Notye Brewington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Edna Marie Caslin Goodall
Edna Marie Caslin Goodall, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 24, 1919, in Baltimore. A resident for 25 years, she was a schoolteacher, a World War II Army veteran and a volunteer with Catholic Charities and the Las Vegas Convalescent Center.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Sara Levin, and one grandson, Rodger Levin, both of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Bernadette E. Hatfield
Bernadette E. Hatfield, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 25, 1939, in California. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired entertainment secretary and a member of Emerald Bay Alumni.
She is survived by five sons, John, Louis, Robert, James and Thomas; one daughter, Laura; one brother, Leonard Golan; one sister, Felecia Sauchenko; and one grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Emerald Bay Alumni.
Dorothy Ann James
Dorothy Ann James, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 15, 1938, in Hattiesburg, Miss. A resident for four years, she was a missionary.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Ameen and Veronica James, and one son, Allen James, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 8-11 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Saturday in Church of the Lord Jesus, 1260 W. Bartlett Ave. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
James Harm Latham
James Harm Latham, 97, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in Boulder City. He was born Oct. 21, 1907, in Hillsboro, N.M. A resident for 40 years, he was a ranch owner and member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by one son, Richard Latham of Arizona; and one daughter, Darlene Wilson of Colorado.
Bunkers Morturary is handling private arrangements.
Alice 'AJ' Lockner
Alice "AJ" Lockner, 69, of Rensselaer, N.Y., died Sunday in an Albany, N.Y., hospital. She was born in Elmira, N.Y. A former Nevada resident, she was employed by Hughes Aviation.
She is survived by one son, Brian Cochrane of Greensboro, Ga.; one daughter, Edna Olson of Rensselaer; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Melvyn M. Matsuda
Melvyn M. Matsuda, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 15, 1942, in South Hilo, Hawaii. A resident for four years, he was a card dealer.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Matsuda of Honokaa, Hawaii; and two brothers, Glen Matsuda of Hilo, Hawaii, and Brent Matsuda of Honakaa.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
James H. Minor
James H. Minor, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Cuero, Texas. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired welder for a shipbuilding company.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta J.; one daughter, Vivienne Watkins of Las Vegas; one son, Jamie Minor of Georgia; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave., North Las Vegas.
Delvin R. Norwood
Delvin R. Norwood, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 16, 1943, in Bell, Calif. A resident for 15 years, he was a welding inspector, a member of the American Welding Society and North American Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia E.; one son, Ray Norwood, and one daughter, Colleen Norwood, both of Las Vegas; his mother and stepfather, Delvia M. and Bill J. Rowe of Collbran, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Martin Joseph O'Reilly
Martin Joseph O'Reilly, 73, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1931, in New York City. A resident for five years, he was a retired police officer and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Katherine M. Willey of Goodyear, Ariz., Maureen Van Patten of San Angelo, Texas, and Annie Afusia of Anchorage, Alaska; his companion, Florence Grummett of Henderson; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 12:15 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite law enforcement charity.
Mary E. Rudy
Mary E. Rudy, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1946, in California. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy; two sons, Mark Mitchell of Katy, Texas, and Thomas Mitchell Jr. of Victorville, Calif.; one daughter, Sherri Tapia of Las Cruces, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter, Layla Marie Verheyen.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Oklahoma. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Patricia Ann Thomsen
Patricia Ann Thomsen, 52, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born July 18, 1952, in Tullahoma, Tenn. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Jeannie Matthies of Eureka, Calif., and Julie Thomsen of Las Vegas; three sisters, Betsy Brown and Joyce White, both of Nashville, Tenn., and Marcia Mundy of Jacksonville, Ala.; two brothers, Bubba Cash and Kenneth Cash, both of Nashville; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
