Book signing
Sarah Marks, author of the best-selling book "Reservations Required -- Culinary Secrets of Las Vegas' Celebrity Chefs," will team with Chef Anthony Amoroso of Fiamma Trattoria at MGM for a cooking demonstration/book signing from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Fashion Show mall. 'Loving Las Vegas'
The UNLV School of Architecture will host a panel discussion featuring three of the nation's foremost redevelopment experts -- Wade Killefer, Edward Roski and Anthony Marnell -- titled "Loving Las Vegas" at 7 p.m. Thursday in UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall. Admission is free. 895-3031.

'Spy Kids 2'

'Community Roots'
The City of Las Vegas' Cultural Affairs Division presents "Community Roots: The History of West Las Vegas," a workshop focusing on African-American pioneers in West Las Vegas and Nevada history, featuring speaker Ray Willis, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W.
