Allegiant Air will inaugurate new service to the Branson, Mo., area in April, the Las Vegas-based airline announced today.
Twice-weekly nonstop round trips between McCarran International Airport and Springfield-Branson Regional Airport will leave Las Vegas at 3:10 p.m., arriving in Springfield at 7:55 p.m., and return at 8:35 p.m., arriving in Las Vegas at 9:40 p.m., Thursdays and Sundays.
Allegiant is accommodating the new flights by adding its 12th plane to its fleet of twin-engine MD-83 and MD-87 jets.
When flights begin April 21, Allegiant will have service between Las Vegas and 15 cities. The airline specializes in linking Las Vegas with secondary airports and locations not served by larger airlines.
