Local 1A teams swept from girls’ tourney

Two local entries in the 1A Southern Region girls basketball tournament were ousted in the first round of competition.
Trinity Christian lost at Lund 61-40, and Tonopah won at Mountain View 57-51. Indian Springs edged Laughlin 48-46 to advance to Friday's semifinals at Durango High School in Las Vegas.
Pahranagat Valley deafeted Round Mountain on Tuesday to advance to the semifinals.
