Charlie Ray Baker Jr.
Charlie Ray Baker Jr., 70, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Nashville, Tenn. A resident for six years, he was a retired contractor, an Army veteran and a member of the Masona.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Alicia Reed of Suisun City, Calif., and Antoinette Brown of Stockton, Calif.; two sons, Jess Brown of Alameda, Calif., and Willard Brown of West Sacramento; one sister, Barbara Jean McCreary of Columbus, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Alton Earl Boykin
Alton Earl Boykin, 66, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 11, 1939, in Monticello, Fla. A resident for seven years, he was a retired Navy E-5 and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Christina; one son, William Maurice Boykin of Boston; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Juan A. Diaz
Juan A. Diaz, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Cuba. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired operating room technician.
He is survived by his mother, Dulce Basnueva of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park.
Charles D. Dickson
Charles D. Dickson, 60, of Las Vegas died Feb. 7 in Las Vegas. He was born April 18, 1944, in Houston. A resident for 28 years, he was an electrician for Johnson Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; three daughters, Shonna Dickson-Fowlkes and Sharene Dickson, both of California, and Cherise Allen of Nevada; four sons, Tyrone James, Christopher Dickson and Carl Gaines Dickson, all of Nevada, and Charles Dickson Jr. of California; four brothers, Velvet Saleem of Georgia, Roy Saleem and Bernard Dickson, both of Nevada, and Kenneth Dickson of California; four sisters, Emma Furman and Orscine Jefferson, both of Nevada, and Elexezenia Lewis and Teresa Dickson, both of California; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Tuesday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be private.
Candelaria Perez Espano
Candelaria Perez Espano, 75, of Las Vegas died Feb. 7 in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Dec. 22, 1929, in California.
She is survived by two daughters, Adela and Maria.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Memorial Park, Main St.
Stephen Hunt
Stephen Hunt, 46, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 14, 1958, in San Salvador, Bahamas. A resident for 14 years, he was a dealer.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia M.; five sons, Seneca Hunt and Sentenial Hunt, both of the Bahamas, and Jeremie Hunt, Mario Hunt and Juwan Hunt, all of Henderson; two daughters, Phylicia Hunt and Mia Gebhard, both of Henderson; five sisters, Fredricka Hunt, Bernadette Hunt-Smith, Faye Hunt-Knowles, Gabrielle Hunt-Cooper and Jessica Hunt, and three brothers, Winslow Hunt, Clement Hunt and Edmund Hunt, all of the Bahamas; and one grandson.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Monte C. Knouf
Monte C. Knouf, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born June 14, 1924, in Wenatchee, Wash. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired freight truck driver and a member of the Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Blaireen; two daughters, Karen McGraw and Candice Smith, both of Vancouver, Wash.; two sons, Mark Knouf of Vancouver and Craig Knouf of Lake Oswego, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Arnold Edward Lefko
Arnold Edward Lefko, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1941, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a paper goods company.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Nancy; four daughters, Stacy Warns of Phoenix, Jill Sinda of Minneapolis, Jennifer Lefko of Columbia, Mo., and Amy Lefko of Philadelphia; one brother, Jeff Lefko of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
Alphonso J. Liberato
Alphonso J. Liberato, 80, of Henderson died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 9, 1925, in Passaic, N.J. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired supervisor of a manufacturing company and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; one son, Joseph Liberato, and one daughter, Kathaleen Bistritz, both of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Vada Emma Medialdea
Vada Emma Medialdea, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 16, 1922, in Maxwell, Neb. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired secretary at a middle school.
She is survived by three sons, Fernando John Medialdea of Las Vegas, Joseph Ernest Medialdea of Fresno, Calif., and Gary Lee Wilson of Missouri; one daughter, Laura Jo Sweeney of Moreno Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

James Jefferson 'Jeff' Morse
James Jefferson "Jeff" Morse, 51, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Fort McPherson, Ga. A resident for 15 years, he was a lover of golf.
He is survived by his wife, Christine M. Toly-Morse; his mother, Jessie Morse of Marietta, Ga.; two sisters, Debra Harden of Watkinsville, Ga., and Beverly James of Roswell, Ga.; and one brother, Jack Morse of Decatur, Ga.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements. Services are pending.
Caridad Pinto
Caridad Pinto, 85, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 8, 1919, in Cuba. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Lucia Lappin-Hernandez of North Las Vegas; three grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mildred Stufflebeam
Mildred Stufflebeam, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born April 30, 1918, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Mark Stufflebeam of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
