Richard Owen Baker
Richard Owen Baker, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 2, 1928, in Winston Salem, N.C. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired electrical contractor.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in be Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Charles Cunnington
Charles Cunnington, 74, of Indiana died Wednesday in Indiana. He was born April 22, 1930, in Fort Wayne, Ind. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a retired teamster and a member of the Teamsters Local 631 and Moose Lodge 1924.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of Las Vegas; two sons, Steve Kamphues of Fort Wayne and David Angel of Las Vegas; seven daughters, Sherry Angel, Shelly Angel, Frances Myrick, Tina Dominguez, Sue Magdaleno, Leslie Cunnington and Tanya Scott, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Cunnington of Toledo, Ill.; two sisters, Dolly Kellermeier of Independence, Ky., and Norma Phillips of Indianapolis; 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Indiana. Day and Carter Mortuary in Indiana will be handling arrangements.
Randall L. Dimings
Randall L. Dimings, 50, of North Las Vegas died Jan. 22 in North Las Vegas. A resident for 14 years, he was born April 26, 1954, in Bend, Ore.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Pam; two sons, David of Amargosa Valley and Michael of Ogden, Utah; two brothers, John of Pahrump and Donald of North Las Vegas; one sister, Lynda Blewett of Amargosa Valley; and one granddaughter.
Valley Mortuary handled arrangements.
Michael Drakeford
Michael Drakeford, 60, of Las Vegas died Jan. 22 Las Vegas. He was born May 6, 1944, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a retired waiter.
He is survived by his companion, Betty Lemoncello.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Raymond J. Finland Jr.
Raymond J. Finland Jr., 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born April 4, 1943, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, he was an electrician, a Navy veteran and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimmerly Simon, of San Leandro, Calif.
Memorial services will be private. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.
Keith Owen Gifford
Keith Owen Gifford, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. Born June 19, 1957, in Las Vegas, he was a lifelong resident.
He is survived by his parents, Dale and Alice Gifford, one sister, Roseann Leinbach, and two brothers, Walt Gifford and David Vaughn Gifford, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Donald V. Hetrick
Donald V. Hetrick, 75, of Las Vegas died Jan. 27 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 26, 1929, in Cleveland. He was a retired program manager in the transportion industry and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; three sons; three daughters; and 14 grandchildren.

Donald L. Johnson
Donald L. Johnson, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Dallas. A resident for over 40 years, he was a retired police officer who served in the Las Vegas and Metro Police departments since 1964, who taught in the DARE program and the junior deputy program for over 20 years. He was a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia H.; three daughters, Misti Johnson of Utah and Heidi Johnson and Holly Johnson, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Graveside services will be noon Tuesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Margaret Helen 'Maggie' Kassube
Margaret Helen "Maggie" Kassube, 63, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1941, in Rolla, N.D. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired restaurant hostess and a life member of the Eagles in Pocatello, Idaho.
She is survived by her husband, Bill H.; three daughters, Audrey Smith of Pocatello, Jodi Smith of Bellevue, Idaho, and Christine Hanson of Kuna, Idaho; three sons, Shane Smith of Boise, Idaho, Vincent Kassube of Denver and Bill J. Kassube of Hill City, S.D.; one sister, Marion Kinney of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two brothers, John Davis of Pocatello and Kenneth Davis of Greeley, Colo.; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at noon in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Consolacion C. Leon-Guerrero
Consolacion C. Leon-Guerrero, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 23, 1927, on Saipan, Marianas Islands. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by six daughters, Ruth Atoigue of North Las Vegas, Josethine Palma of Maryland, Annie Singh and Doris Santos, both of Las Vegas, and Rose Leon-Guerrero and Carmen Unchangco of California; three sons, Joe Leon-Guerrero and Thomas Leon-Guerrero, both of Las Vegas, and Jesus Leon-Guerrero of Guam; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. until a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be in Long Beach, Calif.
Edward P. McKerman
Edward P. McKerman, 78, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born June 11, 1926, in Hoboken, N.J. A resident for four years, he was a retired mail sorter for the post office and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one nephew, Edward C. Gardner of North Las Vegas; and one niece, Patricia Gardner Ritter of Dover, Del.
Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St., Las Vegas, NV 89030. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Rose Poret
Rose Poret, 88, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospice. Born Aug. 5, 1916, in Bronx, N.Y., she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Neil Poret of Henderson; one daughter, Sandra Levine of Smithtown, N.Y.; one sister, Lillian Siegel of New Orleans; two grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow in King David Cemetery.

Melvin Ellis Salisbury
Melvin Ellis Salisbury, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 19, 1922, in La Grande, Ore. A resident for 20 years, he was the owner-operator of Sun Glass City and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; seven sons, Marvin Salisbury of Sandy, Utah, Clyde Salisbury of Tooele, Utah, Sam Salisbury of West Jordan, Utah, Dennis Salisbury of Bowling Green, Ky., Ramsey Scioto Salisbury of Las Vegas and Michael Salisbury and Christopher Salisbury, both of Salt Lake City; five daughters, Georgia Grant and Linda Salisbury-Trujillo, both of West Valley City, Utah, April Somers of Draper, Utah, Susie Peterson and Anita Parry, both of Salt Lake City; 26 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS First Ward Relief Society Room. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Palm, Downtown.
Freda LaNore Schow
Freda LaNore Schow, 76, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Montevallo, Mo. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one son, George Poff.
She is survived by four daughters, Evelyn Summers of Missouri and Carol Sleeman, Ann Drake, and Linda Rabines, all of Nevada; four sons, Charles Poff of Missouri and Michael Short, Lee Poff and Terry Poff, all of Nevada; 29 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Palo Verde chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
David Wayne Stewart
David Wayne Stewart, 41, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 6, 1963.
He is survived by his parents, John and Alex Stuart; two sisters, Missy McGee and Arriel Owen, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Shane Stuart of Beverly Hills, Calif., and John Michael Stuart and Cory Stuart, both of Las Vegas.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the LDS Bermuda Ward. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Joseph R. Tripoli
Joseph R. Tripoli, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 11, 1921, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired automobile salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Richard Tripoli of Ashland, Ore.

John A. Zblewski
John A. Zblewski, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 6, 1946, in Iola, Wis. A resident for 35 years, he was an aircraft electrician and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A.; one daughter, Victoria A. Zblewski of Las Vegas; his stepmother, Sadie Behm of Stevens Point, Wis.; two brothers, Anthony Zblewski of Amherst Junction, Wis., and James Zblewski of Rosholt, Wis.; two sisters, Lori Patoka of Plover, Wis., and Kathleen Genovese of Stevens Point.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be private.
