Bard fans can get thee to CCSN
Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 | 8:43 a.m.
Friends, Romans, countrymen, you are not fortune's fool. For now is not the winter of our discontent.
If you can't get thee to Cedar City, Utah, for its Shakespearean Festival this summer, or have not patience to wait, be not afraid.
All the world's a stage and the Utah Shakespearean Festival Touring Company brings itself this weekend to the Community College of Southern Nevada where it will present the Bard's romantic comedy "The Taming of the Shrew."
Show times are at 8 p.m. today and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday in the Horn Theatre on the Cheyenne Campus, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave.
So be not afraid of greatness. Get thee to thy theater to witness the tricking of Christopher Sly, Petruccio's taming of Katherine and Lucentio's clever wooing of Bianca in the ultimate battle of the sexes.
Tickets are $10; $8 for students and seniors. For more information, call 651-5483.
