A new retail center named Paradise Esplanade is under construction at the northeast corner of Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road. Construction on the 45,500-square-foot center is expected to finish up this month with most of the tenants opening by the beginning of March. Dallas-based Cypress Equities, an affiliate of Staubach Retail, is developing the center, its first in Las Vegas. CVS pharmacy and Leonard's Wide Shoes already have opened. Numerous restaurants are slated to open at the center, including Johnny Rockets, Cold Stone Creamery, Joe's Pizza, Origin India, Paradise Cantina and the Rainbow Bar and Grill. Hipnaughty, a women's clothing store, also is scheduled to open.
