Boulder City candidate drops out

Boulder City's April primary election has been canceled because a City Council candidate withdrew from the race, and the four remaining candidates will now face off in the June general election for the two council seats at stake in this year's city election, City Clerk Pam Malmstrom said.

Philip de Langis dropped out of the race, leaving incumbent council members Andrea Anderson and Mike Pacini, plus challengers Bradley Farmer and Jeremy Lilly on the ballot for the general election.

Meanwhile in North Las Vegas, candidate Ronald Dean Dalrymple has dropped out of the race for the Municipal Court, Department 2, bench, leaving six candidates in the race for the new judgeship, City Clerk Karen Storms said.

The remaining candidates are Keith Buck, whose wife is City Councilwoman Shari Buck, Willia Chaney, Marcia Daines, Sean Hoeffgen, Christopher Larotonda, and Robert Nelson-Kortland.

Those candidates will first face off in the April 5 primary, early voting is from March 19 to April 1. The top two vote-getters in the primary will move on to the June 7 general election, early voting will be from May 21 to June 3.
