JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Someone had to say it, and Rodney Harrison would have been the betting favorite to do so.
So just as the betting favorite won on the money line Sunday night, so did the favorite to complain about being disrespected do so after the win.
"Everyone had pretty much blown us off," said Patriots safety Rodney Harrison, who has, in he past month, also taken exception to comments made by opposing players Mike Vanderjagt and Freddie Mitchell. "Didn't give us a chance. Everyone picked Philly to win this game. It really gave us a lot of motivation to come out here and try to win this ballgame."
Joe Andruzzi added, "A lot of people counted us out."
For the record, the Patriots were made 7-point favorites, and 14 of 14 Boston Globe staffers picked the Patriots to win, not to mention just about everyone at Sports Illustrated and ESPN.
