Bies: Inflation ‘under control’

The U.S. economy is strong and inflation is under control so the Federal Reserve will continue to raise rates at a "measured" pace, Governor Susan Bies said.
Inflation is between 1.5 percent and 2.5 percent a year, Bies said.
"On average prices are well-contained," she said in a speech at the University of Tennessee in Martin. "We're committed to a measured pace of continuing to raise interest rates."
