Artist meet, greet
The public is invited to meet artist Dale Cox, whose work is being displayed at the Twin Lakes Gallery of the Derfelt Senior Citizens Center, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 3341 W. Washington Ave. in Lorenzi Park. Cox's paintings will be displayed until March 2. Admission is free. 229-6601.
'Cult of Potato'
The Contemporary Arts Collective will kick off the world tour of "Cult of Potato" today at 101 E. Charleston Blvd., Suite 101. The show, which consists of mixed media installation and wall work continues until March 5. An artists' talk will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the gallery. Admission is free. 382-3886.
'Untold Truths'
"Untold Truths," about African-American Heritage, will be on display Saturday and Sunday at the West Charleston Gallery, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd. Admission is free. 248-1232.
'Witness'

'Susans'
"Turning Black-Eyed Susans Into Stone," featuring the works of photographer Kim Russell, will be on display until Feb. 28 at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave., in celebration of African American History Month. Admission is free. 507-3630.
'Jazz'
"Expressions From a Jazz Hepi," featuring the jazz-themed paintings of Gene Redden, will be displayed from Tuesday until April 3 at Summerlin Library, 1771 Inner Circle Drive, in celebration of African American History Month. Admission is free. 507-3860.
Watercolors
Moapa Valley artists Jo Tame and Betty Halverson will display their watercolors at the Lost City Museum in Overton this month. The museum is located on State Route 169 off I-15, exit, #93 or via Lake Mead or the Valley of Fire. Admission is $3 adults, $2 ages 65 and above, free for children and members. 397-2193.
'Father's Eyes'
The Las Vegas Art Museum, 9600 W. Sahara Ave., will display a traveling exhibition, "Through My Father's Eyes: The Filipino American Photographs of Ricardo Ocreto Alvarado (1914-1976)," until March 13. 'Convictions'

Bat exhibit
