Letter: Don’t touch Social Security

Social Security is not broke, nor is it going to be broke. The American Society of Actuaries has released a report warning of Bush administration distortions and exaggerations to create a false crisis.

Wall Street wants the money, plain and simple, and the notion of an "ownership society" does not pertain to the middle and lower classes whose standard of living is steadily being eroded by corporate capitalism and its dominant ideologues.

Social Security has served us well and will continue to do so if it is not handed over to Wall Street predators.
