Letter: Kennedy won’t ‘pay any price’

Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 | 9:08 a.m.

Here is a quote from President John F. Kennedy's inaugural address of 1961: "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge -- and more."

Compare that to the un-American, radical and leftist statements of the last few days from his brother Ted. What a disgrace he is to the memory of his brother. What a disservice he does to our troops.
