Letter: President has helped working Americans

Here's a great quote from letter writer Virgil A. Sestini in his Dec. 25 masterpiece that was headlined, "GOP out of touch with America":

"Every day working Americans are watching their paychecks being eaten away by rising taxes."

Earth to Mr. Sestini ... every working American received a tax cut from President Bush, and many poor working Americans had their income tax burden eliminated. And even that pesky 5 percent unemployment number can't stop Mr. Sestini from writing about how bad the economy is.

Please keep crying about "tax cuts for the rich," Mr. Sestini. It not only brings a smile to our faces, it keeps the Democratic Party from winning elections.
