Letter: Judge’s ruling on ‘ID’ a welcome move

Federal Judge John Jones' recent decision to bar the supernatural intelligent design story from a science class in Dover, Pa., is a nice turn of events.

Perhaps this will encourage the supernatural proponents to teach and share their stories in private at church or in religion class. The judge strongly rebuked efforts by activist law firms and activists on the (voted out) Dover School Board for attempting to circumvent the U.S. Constitution's provisions for a separation of church and state.

Judge Jones gets my vote for best judicial appointee by President George W. Bush.
