Because of an error by the Sun, a story in Wednesday's edition contained incorrect information about legislation introduced in Congress. The story said the bill proposes that the government take ownership of waste in nuclear power plants' storage pools and in above-ground containers. The bill does not propose having the government take ownership of waste in the storage pools. The Sun regrets the error.
