Several facts in a business story that ran Nov. 17 require clarification. The story stated that Landry's Restaurants had paid more for the Golden Nugget properties than first disclosed, but failed to note that the Golden Nugget Laughlin, under contract to be sold, was not part of the transaction when the deal was first announced. The story also did not explain that the price the company specified in its press release included a reference to an undefined amount of working capital that would have made the price higher. The Sun regrets the omissions.
