Bid on a variety of items at Sun site

It's not too late to get in a bid for the Las Vegas Sun's annual Charity Holiday Auction. But the clock is ticking.

So use one of those TV timeouts you've been saving and get over to the Sun's Web site (www.lasvegassun.com) and make your bid before Friday's midnight deadline passes.

You can still bid on any of the 239 items on the list by clicking on the link to the auction on our home page and following the instructions.

There are all kinds of goodies available, some with no bids yet.

For instance, you can have the entire second season of "Gilligan's Island" (item No. 37) on DVD for a song (but not the theme song) and a $5 minimum bid. Or how about a "Desperate Housewives" measuring cup (item 217) and notebook for a measly $2 bid? Or an "Arthur's First Crush" (item 182) animated DVD that has nothing to do with Dudley Moore or Liza Minnelli?

Remember, all bids are tax deductible and go to a good cause -- the Las Vegas Sun Summer Camp Fund. So visit our Web site and get to biddin' before the Grinch gets wind of what we're doing.
