Business Bank changes plans for headquarters

Business Bank of Nevada has revised its plans to build a new corporate headquarters building.

The bank received approval from Summerlin developer Howard Hughes Corp. and the Clark County Commission to change its original plans for two, 75,000-square-foot buildings to a single six-story building totaling 150,000 square feet.

The bank -- which recently announced its expansion into the Arizona market -- said groundbreaking for the new headquarters at West Charleston Boulevard and Pavilion Center Drive is expected by the end of the year.

When the building is complete, the bank will have a first-floor branch, as well a second-floor bank operations and central servicing department and about 10,000 square feet of executive offices on the sixth floor. The remainder of the building will be leased to outside tenants.
